HELLO I’m Troy, Creative Art Director & designer with 15+ years of experience, passionate about advertising, branding & producing memorable, multi-channel brand storytelling campaigns THAT ENGAGE CONSUMERS. I’m a graduate from (Southwest) Texas State University with a BFA in graphic design. I have a passion for design, illustration, typography, photography and art. I currently live in Manchaca, Texas with my wife and our daughter, her puppy, Coconut and Foot, the cat.
I have been working in the financial/credit union industry, currently leading a team of art directors, designers and copywriters for clients like University Federal Credit Union (UFCU), PennFed, USAA, Consumers FCU and many more from around Austin to around the country. I was awarded an ADDY and a Telly award in 2012 for the “Dodgeball” television spot we did for UFCU.
I was an art director for nearly four years working in the B2B, Financial Services industries. Most of my experience includes identity, branding, advertising and promotional projects for credit union brands, such as UFCU, St. Francis Credit Union and Prosperity Bank. If you can think it, I’ve probably designed it.
I work as the freelance creative director for Huston-Tillotson College here in Austin and also for a small agency called Brooks Creative. I did a couple of years as the art director for The Star of Texas Rodeo, producing the newsletter, maps, invitations, etc.
I worked with Capital Area Crimestoppers here in Austin, developing their logo and producing a quarterly newsletter as well as presentation materials for the directors to obtain donations for the program. We contributed and participated in The Ruby Sue Clifton Golf Tournament put on by Smart Financial to fund the scholarship program.
